The name ‘Heaven’ in itself is a brand of Prophet Francis Kwateng of which he has made known to the world that the place is his only hope and destination and therefore it became most appropriate that the radio station be given the said name, hence ‘Heaven FM’ A befitting name for a radio station that depicts it essence and relevance.
Prophet and Mrs Mercy Kwateng thought it essential to include a radio station to the TV station(Elijah TV) to be able to reach the ends of Ghana especially people who would not have a TV set where ever they may be in Ghana and also visually impaired persons who will only have to be dependent on audio rather than audio-visual. Then through to the field worker who cannot carry a TV along and the farmer who will be doing their farm work and listening to the word of God and some good Gospel songs. All in all, either ways the prophet desires to reach all and sundry. We cannot over look the fact that Mr. Baffour Kusi(Amarado Katakyie) the then manager of Sunyani Heaven FM was also a great contributor in birthing the idea of setting about a radio station for the ministerial course of winning souls for Christ.
Heaven FM was pursued in 2016/2017 and the frequency was attained seamlessly from the National Communications Authority(NCA) by the grace of God. Indeed, there was an already budget set aside for the station therefore bringing it into existence was effortless. To God be all glory.
Test transmissions started initially with Sunyani Heaven FM in June 2017, then the now mother station; Heaven FM Kumasi, started its test transmission in December 24th 2020 then programs commenced on 5th April 2021. Takoradi Heaven FM is also in action and other stations that will be flourishing sooner for a wider network in reaching more souls. As at now in 2022 February, Heaven FM stands as five radio stations with the agenda of taking souls to heaven with good Gospel music and great rich-godly programs. In hopes, the prophet and his wife desire to acquire not less than ten radio stations in Ghana. All with the number one agenda as winning and taking souls to heaven.
Since the world keep evolving, Heaven FM will also abreast itself with the ever-dynamic changes to issues of the world concerning networking, therefore to all other people who desire to be listeners and partakers of our shows and music but are without radio, or do not have access to Heaven FM, or are in the diaspora but would love to join in, will have to ease it all by only logging on to the Internet to www.heavenfmonline.com and join in. Better still, you can download the Tune-in Radio app on your play store and search for Prophet Francis Kwateng Radio. It’s as simple as that.
Then again to those who are in Ghana but cannot access HEAVEN FM on the radio set due to proximity, just go onto your multi-TV decoder, on the radio section and search Heaven FM and you will be good to go..
